The First Peoples’ Cultural Foundation is a non-profit society and registered charity established in 2000 to honour, support and revitalize Indigenous languages, arts and cultural heritage. Indigenous languages, arts and cultural heritage hold thousands of years of accumulated knowledge, wisdom, rituals, customs, governance and legal systems, spirituality and cultural ways of being.

As an Indigenous-led charitable organization, we prioritize financial decision-making by and for Indigenous people. As a result, the bulk of our funding goes directly to communities to support their work, with very little funding spent on overhead or administration.

Become a monthly donor
Join the circle of committed supporters who are lighting the path for long-term, sustainable programs.

Monthly giving is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to give. It is also one of the most generous and impactful gifts you can make – each monthly gift, whether $5 a month or $500, ensures that the people who are doing important language and culture work have the support they need.
