B.C. Invests in First Nations Language, Arts, Culture and Heritage Revitalization
W̱JOȽEȽP, UNCEDED TERRITORY OF W̱SÁNEĆ NATION / BRENTWOOD BAY, B.C.
The Province is providing close to $35 million in new funding to First Peoples’ Cultural Foundation and the First Peoples’ Cultural Council to support First Nations languages, arts, and cultural heritage revitalization across B.C. This new investment is an important step forward and will help FPCF and FPCC continue to provide specialized expertise and improve access to innovative tools, programs, and training that will make measurable progress toward restoring and securing our cultural vitality.
